Bonjourno!, Animal Channel is a four piece band from Firhouse with David Thomson on vocals and guitar, Thomas O'Driscoll on lead guitar, Alan McAuley on bass and Ian Gaffney on drums. We have been playing together now for about 18 months. We started playing gigs as soon as we could and slowly moved up the food chain. We featured on DIT radio during the DIT radio week and have played gigs in a wide variety of venues such as UCD, Trinity, Eamon Dorans, The Voodoo and took part in an anual Battle of the bands in the Civic Theatre in Tallaght. We recently won an anual Battle of the Bands in Balinteer. We have done a small bit of recording, recording a 4 track Demo. Our music is probably best described as Indie Pop but we will leave that up to the listeners discression. Our influences range from the Beatles to Blink 182 and everything in between.
